Which programs are you interested in volunteering for?

Community Presentations -assist or lead presentation to the public concerning DV and HomeSafe Inc.
Donations -assist in organizing and distributing donations
Maintenance- assist or lead in the maintenance and upkeep of HomeSafe properties*shelter maintenance will require fingerprinting and a background check
Community Outreach -assist or lead awareness campaigns or events to bring attention to DV and HomeSafe services and needs
Fund Raising -assist or lead fundraising activities or event
Marketing/Communications -create and disseminate content for social media, website, and various publications
Clerical -assist staff with administrative tasks necessary for iprogram
Other

These positions MAY NOT require fingerprinting or background & reference checks dependent upon access and contact with survivors or children

If other...

Helpline -provide crisis intervention to survivors of domestic violence on our 24/7 helpline
Peer Mentor -supportive work with survivors in group or individually, life experience preferred
Survivor Skill building -lead various skill building workshops/classes with survivors and/or their children, such as budgeting, crafts, computer skills etc.
Transportation - assist the program in the transportation of survivors to appointments, interviews etc.
Childcare -provide supervision of children while the parent is receiving services or for respite time
Board of Directors and/or Board Committees - provide the program with information, expertise, and oversight of projects, policies and fundraisers
