Homesafe, Inc. History

To provide emergency and supportive services to those

experiencing domestic violence and to promote
collaborative community involvement and awareness. 

Founded in 1983, Homesafe of Sumner, Wilson, Robertson and Trousdale Counties, Inc. is a non-profit in the State of Tennessee serving those who are survivors of domestic violence regardless of race, gender, age, religion or ethnic origin.  Since its inception the organization originally known as the Sumner County Coalition Against Domestic Violence has served over 39,000 survivors in the past 29 years.

Homesafe, Inc. provides an array of pieces to the puzzle of domestic violence and sexual assault.  All of these pieces provide full support to children, youth, parents and elders and their needs to find stability and independence from their abusers.
